Teaching Academy Nomination Procedures
Membership in the Teaching Academy recognizes outstanding and scholarly teaching in the
graduate, undergraduate, or outreach programs of the university. In concert with the mission of
the Teaching Academy, individuals selected for this honor will help promote the scholarship of
teaching and learning and share their expertise across campus with their colleagues.
Types of Membership Nominations
Individuals are nominated for membership in the academy by Deans of the various colleges and schools at Purdue University. Nominees may be forwarded relative to the two types of Academy membership:

teaching will be invited to become Fellows of the Academy.
